Nick established Acker’s UK division in early 2021, building upon an illustrious career in fine wine that began at Berry Bros & Rudd and included nearly a decade at Farr Vintners. His philosophy centers on the transformative power of exceptional wines and their ability to inspire memorable experiences. This passion drives his commitment to curate outstanding portfolios and deliver first-class experiences to collectors worldwide. An avid sailor, Nick can often be found navigating the waters of Britain's south coast in his leisure time.
Toby I’Anson
Sales Director, UK
Toby’s professional career has been centered around the fine wine trade. After beginning at Christie’s over sixteen years ago, Toby’s trajectory included senior positions at J&B, Clarion, and Vinum before joining Acker in 2023 as UK Sales Director. As an active Liveryman of the Vintners' Company, he brings traditional expertise to modern fine wine commerce. Based in Salisbury with his family, Toby's passions extend to Norwich City FC and fine cuisine, with a particular penchant for artisanal cheese.
Alice Serena
Head of UK Logistics
Alice’s rich, multicultural perspective underpins her expertise for global logistics. Her career began managing complex supply chains across decoration, design, fashion, and luxury goods before cementing her passion for fine wine. During her five-year tenure at Justerini & Brooks, Alice mastered fine wine and spirits logistics, instrumental in part for her fluency in Italian, English, French, and Spanish. Technical precision and cultural articulacy are her trademark, and her appreciation for fine wine is matched only by her passion for Argentine tango.
George Parkinson
Buyer, UK
George's journey in fine wine began during his university years and has evolved into a distinguished career. After gaining valuable experience at Jeroboams on the shop floor, he quickly he advanced to Berry Bros & Rudd, where he excelled as a broker before assuming the role of Asia buyer. His expertise in global wine markets is complemented by his enthusiasm for cricket, golf, and supporting Norwich Football Club.
