This is a very fine '04 with almost no sigh of the green meanies on the otherwise agreeably pure, spicy and elegant nose. To be sure, there is a very mild vegetal hint but it's not pungent or even especially noticeable. There is good punch and really lovely detail to the intensely mineral-infused middle weight flavors that culminate in a persistent and refined finish that displays a very slight edginess. For my taste this is close to being ready that it could be enjoyed now though I would suggest giving this another 3 to 5 years of cellar time first if you would like to enjoy a fully mature example. - BH
